The Landings on Skidaway Island Named 2017 “Best of the Best Golf Complex” by ideal-LIVING Magazine

ideal-LIVING magazine announces the 2nd Annual “The Best of the Best” in towns and residential communities in its Summer 2017 edition.

The Landings on Skidaway Island has been awarded “Best of the Best Golf Complex.”

Nominations were submitted, the editorial committee then researched and chose those communities/developments they felt best represented the spirit of the category.

The Landings Club membership offers an extraordinary opportunity to play not one but six 18-hole private championship golf courses designed by such masters as Arnold Palmer, Tom Fazio, Arthur Hills and Willard Byrd. Each course is stylistically unique, showcasing the natural beauty of Skidaway Island as well as the distinctive mark of its designer.

Set against a stunning backdrop of stately hardwood forests, unspoiled saltwater marshes, and pristine tidal creeks, all six courses have been designated as “Audubon Cooperative Sanctuaries” by Audubon International, offering challenging play for golfers of all skill levels. The Best of the Best” honorees for 2017 are organized into three broad groups—Destination, Life, and Home— with winners named in a total of 24 categories.
