The Savannah Golf Championship at The Landings

Professional golf is coming to The Landings! The Tour’s, Savannah Golf Championship is scheduled to tee off on March 29th at our Deer Creek course. This tournament will host some of our nation’s best golfers as they compete for a chance to join the PGA TOUR. The Landings Club is thrilled to host The Tour’s annual Savannah Golf Championship – we think that this is the beginning of a great partnership!

About the Savannah Golf Championship

The Savannah Golf Championship is the latest addition to the 2018 Tour, which is the developmental leg of the PGA TOUR, and the primary pathway for golfers seeking to earn their PGA TOUR card.

From March 29th to April 1st, 156 professional golfers from the Tour will be competing at The Landings Club’s Deer Creek Course in hopes of getting closer to that ever elusive PGA TOUR Card, and of course the $550,000 purse.

All proceeds from The Savannah Golf Championship will go to supporting the initiatives of local charities, such as Bethesda Academy and the Savannah Children’s Choir.

Deer Creek Course

Opened in 1991, and modernized in 2009, the Deer Creek course is the perfect location to host the Savannah Golf Championship. Designed by professional golfer Tom Fazio, this course gives its golfers of all skill levels just enough challenge to keep any round of golf interesting and fun.

Members of The Landings Club will receive two tickets to the Savannah Golf Championship for the entire week, completely free of charge. Additional tickets can be purchased at half of the original price. There will also be a “club members’ only” lawn with a bar next to the 18th hole.
