Work Begins on The Landings Company Welcome Center Renovation

If it seems like there’s a lot of hustle and bustle going on at the Welcome Center, that’s because there is. And its hustle and bustle we’re excited about.

The Landings Company Welcome & Sales Center kicked off a renovation project on September 19 that will completely change the way we look. When the work is done, we’ll greet Discovery Guests with a fresh first impression – and we hope our Landings community will come check it out as well.

Beyond routine maintenance, this is the Welcome Center’s first major renovation since its founding in 1974. Planned improvements include structural updates, new windows and mechanicals, technology enhancements and a more modern décor.

Renovation Timeline

The Welcome Center will close during the first phase of the project, and we will greet guests at The Landings Golf & Athletic Club’s office on Green Island Road. The Landings Company will continue business as usual, working remotely. The Welcome Center is expected to reopen for business in mid-October.

Phase two will kick off soon after, with work on a new front entrance porch. Interior renovations in phase two include The Landing Company front offices, conference room, offices and more. The final phase will focus on floors, ceilings and rear office painting. The entire project should be finished by June 2023.
