Spring 2024 Events at The Landings

With the bustle of the holidays behind us, we eagerly await spring’s arrival. Not only is it one of the most beautiful seasons in Savannah with mild temperatures and sunny days, there are a host of events and activities to keep you busy. Your biggest challenge will be trying to fit it all in. It really is the best time to visit if you’re thinking about moving to our community!

World Pickleball Tour Savannah Challenger | March 1st – 3rd
The World Pickleball Tour is coming to Savannah! This is a round robin tournament at The Landings Golf & Athletic Club’s beautiful Franklin Creek Tennis Center. There will be eight guaranteed matches on permanent courts at one of the best venues in state. The World Pickleball Tour is a strictly amateur tournament series that hosted 25 events in 2023 and is hosting nearly 35 in 2024. More information and registration here.

Landings Landlovers Flea Market | March 9th
The Landlovers are a special group dedicated to enriching the community we love. One of the most popular events of the year is our Giant Flea Market! All of Savannah is invited to this massive flea market on Skidaway Island. People start lining up early in the morning to get in. There are thousands of gently used items for sale including everything from artwork and clothing, to garden equipment, sporting goods, household furnishings and more. There are even fun activities for the kids. All funds raised go to the direct support of Landlovers philanthropy. Intake days are March 2-4, and the sale is March 9. More information here.

St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Street Parties | March 17th
A favorite event that draws crowds from all over the country, the Savannah St. Patrick’s Day Parade celebrates its 200th anniversary this year! In fact this event is one of the largest in the U.S., right behind New York City and Chicago. Enjoy marching bands, traditional dancers and elaborate floats in a spectacular celebration of Irish heritage. Dedicated attendees even camp out along the parade route to ensure the best views. Savannah Music Festival | March 28th – April 13th
The Savannah Music Festival is one of the region’s leading arts presenters, producing an internationally acclaimed cross-genre music festival, education programs for local schoolchildren and budding musicians in jazz and acoustic music, a weekly public radio series and off-season concert events. SMF is dedicated to presenting world-class celebrations of the musical arts by creating timeless and adventurous productions that stimulate arts education, foster economic growth and unite artists and audiences in Savannah. Korn Ferry Club Car Championship | April 1st – 7th
Join us for the premier event of the year at The Landings Golf & Athletic Club’s renowned Deer Creek Course. The tournament is a part of the Korn Ferry Tour Schedule and is a four-day, 72-hole, stroke-play competition with a total purse of $1,000,000 in 2024. This year we are excited to announce that all four rounds will be broadcast on The Golf Channel. This is an amazing opportunity for us to welcome a national and international audience to our legendary golf lifestyle. More information here.

Savannah Challenger Tennis Tournament | April 22nd – 28th
The premier professional tennis event in south Georgia returns! This year marks the 14th year of this exciting week-long tournament hosted by The Landings Golf & Athletic Club at the Franklin Creek Tennis Center. This event attracts tennis enthusiasts from The Landings community and from the entire Lowcountry region. Don’t miss this event, where you can see some of the world’s finest players. SCAD Sidewalk Arts Festival | April 27th
Savannah College of Art & Design is proud to announce this exciting event, where you can experience a kaleidoscope of color. During this treasured tradition, SCAD students, alumni, and local high school students transform Savannah’s historic Forsyth Park into a technicolor landscape of chalk compositions for the chance to win coveted prizes. Community members can stroll through the gallery en plein air while enjoying local food and music. More information here.
