On Thursday, November 4, players will tee off for The Final Stage of Q-School to qualify for membership access on next season’s Korn Ferry Tour.
The Korn Ferry Tour Qualifying Tournament will take place at The Landings Club, our first time hosting the event. Players will compete in the two-course contest on Marshwood and Magnolia, vying for a top 40 spot which will bring them back to Savannah in March for the Club Car Championship at The Landings Club.
The results will determine how many tournaments the top players will receive exempt status for throughout the following season. In other words, the better you finish, the more you’ll play. The tournament winner (and ties) will receive fully exempt status on the Korn Ferry Tour for the full 2022 regular season.
Marshwood and Magnolia are the Landings’ two oldest courses, both designed in collaboration with Arnold Palmer. Magnolia will feature brand new greens, and leaders will play the host course, Marshwood on Sunday.
The tournament has a purse of $480,000 with $50,000 going to the winner.
Previous Korn Ferry Tour Qualifying Tournament graduates now collecting wins on the PGA TOUR include Justin Thomas, Tony Finau, Sam Burns (Inaugural Club Car Championship at The Landings Club Champion), Scottie Scheffler (2019 Club Car Championship at The Landings Club Champion) and Sungjae Im (2018 Korn Ferry Tour Player of the Year).
Entrance to the tournament is free, and the gates open daily Thursday, November 4 through Sunday, November 7 at 8 a.m.
