Pat devoted much of her life to education, receiving a BA in Education from the University of Florida. She combined the joy of raising her family with tutoring and teaching upper-level high school math for many years. Pat was also very involved in community and church work. She formed Southern Charm Building and Renovation Inc., which initiated her next career as a Realtor for the Savannah Area Realtors.

Pat began working at The Landings Company in 2000. She has consistently been among the top producing agents for the company. Pat credits her success in sales to her love for people, a natural work ethic and her determination to do a good job. Her boundless energy and the desire to be sure her clients’ needs are met “no matter what,” make all who put their trust in her feel well cared for.

Yesterday, I had a meeting with a member of The Landings Welcome Service and felt, once again, impressed with both this island and your agent Pat Ewaldsen. I felt compelled to send you this email.

I met Pat at our closing, as she was the listing agent for our wonderful home on Joshua’s Retreat. She came to the closing loaded with information about the house and The Landings. After the closing, she made sure we had everything we needed to get through the gate, to set us up with our PIN, and take us to see our new home. We were all stricken with her warmth and willingness to do whatever was needed to help us feel welcome.

Later that evening, Pat took us to dinner. Our beautiful meal was capped off with a surprise dessert (arranged by Pat) and served to my husband. It was obvious, she had paid attention to every detail of our conversation. We were amazed.

About a week ago, I ran into Pat on the island. I told her how I had fallen in love with this place and never wanted to leave. She then arranged for the Welcome Service to bring me their wonderful and thoughtful packet of information. Once again, I was stricken with Pat’s generosity of spirit and attention to detail.

Whenever I had anything needed to be done with the house Part was always there with a Phone number or name of a company or handyman that could do the job. When she heard I was interested in putting my house on the market, she helped me with ways to make it more saleable. Pat was working with a customer who she thought might be interested in my house. She brought her through and the papers were signed the next day. It never even went on the market. The timing was perfect for my move to The Marshes.
