Raoul was born in Atlanta and grew up in the Maryland suburbs of Washington, DC and attended Elon University in North Carolina.
His career began in franchising which led him to Coldwell Banker Corporation where he worked in franchise development and mergers & acquisitions covering several southeastern states.
He then served as Vice President of Business Development for the firm now known as Carolina One Real Estate. The largest firm in Charleston, SC with approximately 750 agents.
In early 2002, he bought Governors Club Realty in Chapel Hill, NC from the departing developer. Governors Club is a gated community and Club with a 27-hole Nicklaus Signature course. The firm handled the majority of Governors Club’s buyers and sellers during his 12+ year ownership.
In March of 2014, he relocated to Savannah to serve as President of The Landings Company. He and his wife Jackie live in The Landings along with his mother, Ann, who lives with them permanently.
Raoul’s 30-year-old daughter, Katherine lives in Apex, NC and his 27-year-old son, Emmett lives in Richmond, VA.
