Meals for Medical

A simple idea has turned into a movement. Meals for Medical is taking donations to provide free food to the medical professionals on Savannah’s front lines.

Landings resident and club member, Jennifer Green, started Meals for Medical as a way for the community to show thanks to the ER doctors, nurses and emergency workers who have remained dedicated to the health of our community.

Meals for Medical now provides 285 meals per day to six facilities across Savannah, as local businesses continue to step up to provide food.

Now, we’re playing our part. The Landings Company real estate agents Christy Moore, Jill Brooks, Ginna Carroll, and Eileen Galves spearheaded our Meals for Medical fundraising campaign. The Landings Club Catering Team, led by Michele Godbee and Kevin Walters, volunteered to provide the food.

Together, we have already raised over $2,000 to pay for meals that The Landings Club will make and deliver to local healthcare workers. Our first hot meal will be delivered on Sunday, April 5. Jill Brooks says she is hoping we can raise enough money to provide at least one meal each week.

“We’d like to keep this going. The Landings Company is one big team that represents the community, and we try to do what we can. This is something simple we can do to give back,” said Brooks.

Between our dedicated staff, our compassionate neighbors, and Savannah as a whole, we’re proud to be a part of such a strong, caring and resilient community.
