Caroline Barnett is a licensed Georgia REALTOR® who is a native of Westchester County, NY. Growing up, she was very involved in school athletics and was a record setting point guard in high school basketball.She attended the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, AL and graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond VA with a Bachelors of Science Degree in criminal justice. Caroline pursued a career as a police officer with the Henrico County, VA Police Department and became a Firearms Instructor and also specialized in Youth at Risk. Caroline found these positions stimulating and very rewarding, and went on to become a School Resource Officer for several years. She achieved many significant certifications as a police officer, including, National Incident Command System, D.A.R.E. Teacher, Signal Blue-School Emergency Incident, School Resource Officer, First Responder in Terrorist Incident.
With a heart for women and children, Caroline also volunteered at the Emergency Shelter for Women and Children in Richmond, VA and tutored children with special needs in the Richmond, VA area schools.
The desire to be closer to family and her love of the South made her decision to move to Savannah an easy one. Caroline and Cagny, her yellow lab, moved to The Landings to pursue a career as a Realtor at The Landings Company, partnering with her Realtor parents, Rick and Sue Barnett. Her addition to the Barnett team enhances their ability to serve their clients with the highest standards in the industry.
Caroline can be seen running with Cagny every morning through neighborhoods at The Landings and they are both frequent visitors and supporters of The Landings Dog Park. Since moving to The Landings, Caroline has been involved with the Chatham County Humane Shelter fundraising activities.
